Elle Macpherson was spotted in Madrid on Wednesday, showcasing her naturally wavy hair. The 62-year-old model pinned up her blonde tresses while wearing a casual chic ensemble. She opted for a brown jacket, corduroy trousers, and matching sandals, accessorizing with a leather crossbody bag and a makeup-free face.
Later, she attended a Marie Claire event in the Spanish city, turning heads in a sheer black lace dress. She added a chic blazer and sunglasses, boosting her height with strappy heels.
Wellness Journey
In a recent interview, Elle discussed her wellness journey after realizing she could no longer rely on genetics once she turned 50. Appearing on Amanda Wakeley's podcast Style DNA, she revealed tips for a good night's sleep, emphasizing the importance of eight hours.
She said: "I go to bed with a smile. I go to bed with a happy heart. And an eye mask. No clothes. My skin." Elle also avoids caffeine, eats her last meal at 5pm, and relaxes with hot chocolate before sleeping.
She wakes at 5:00am and starts her day with a smile, followed by water with lime and 25 minutes of meditation in bed "to take care of her mind, body, and spirit." She then cycles to the beach for a 6:30am swim. If short on time, she stays closer to home, grounding herself by putting her feet on the earth, doing yoga, or Dr. Zach's Four Minute Workout to stimulate nitric oxide.
"Sometimes I'll go for a cold plunge afterwards followed by a matcha in the sunshine before getting ready for my day," she added.
Exercise and Nutrition
The mother-of-two prefers outdoor exercise like hiking, biking, swimming, or simply sitting in fresh air and sunshine. She has no set schedule and goes with the flow, relying on regular infrared sauna sessions and cold plunges to reset. Elle adds a collagen elixir to her morning smoothie and takes gut support and protein supplements.
A "big believer in energy healing," she books regular appointments for acupuncture, chiropractic, breath work, and sound healing, and also undergoes Russian Banyas, an ancient steam bathing tradition using veniks.
