Inge Theron, founder of FaceGym and consultant on the longevity and wellness programme at Fulham Pier's new Sæl Spa, reveals her daily habits for health and longevity. She prioritises connection, sleep, and joy over rigid routines.
Morning Routine: No Alarm, Cuddles, and Juice
Theron stopped using an alarm clock as soon as she could afford to, citing cortisol spikes from being startled awake. Instead, her Eight Sleep mattress uses gentle temperature shifts and vibrations to ease her up. She checks her sleep score on an Oura ring to gauge recovery and adjust her day's intensity.
She starts her day with Brecka hydrogen tablets in water, followed by 15 minutes of cuddling with her daughter. 'Connection and physical affection are some of the most evidence-backed longevity tools we have,' Theron says. She skips breakfast, opting for fresh vegetable juice that rotates through greens, oranges, and purples to support microbiome diversity.
Supplements, Peptides, and Exercise
Theron undergoes regular blood work and takes a custom supplement stack from Dr Mark Mikhail at Sæl Spa. She is currently testing an intra oral GHK-CU copper peptide for skin health. Her exercise routine is varied due to a global schedule, but she masters 30-minute workouts including weights, swimming, mini trampoline, and reformer Pilates twice a week.
Sauna: The Keystone Habit
She uses a sauna six days a week, alternating between Finnish (at 90°C) and infrared. 'Just 15 minutes, five days a week will change your life,' she advises. The infrared sauna is beneficial after late nights and for skin health.
Wellness Tech and AI Design
Theron is excited about home wellness tech, including the Chillshark bath chilling device for cold plunges and a red-light shower concept. She uses AI to design spaces that influence mood through light, sound, and scent, integrating clinical input with AI-generated soundscapes, lightscapes, and smellscapes.
Sleep Rituals and Women's Longevity
Sleep is her biggest focus, with a ritual including a regular schedule, cool body temperature, and light pyjamas. She switches off her phone at 9pm to avoid stressful messages. She follows women's health experts like Dr Lauren Streicher, Dr Vonda Wright, and Dr Stacy Simms, noting that much longevity research is based on male physiology. 'So much of the longevity conversation is built on male physiology, so it is great to see women helping women,' she says.
Travel and Philosophy
When travelling, Theron uses FlyKitt and finds the glasses helpful for adjusting to new time zones. Her philosophy: 'Ageing is modifiable, not an inevitability to endure.' She prioritises health span while allowing joy without guilt over wine, missed workouts, or pasta.
