David Potts Sheds Four Stone After Quitting £40-a-Day Snack Habit

Celebrity Big Brother winner David Potts has revealed he lost four stone after ditching a daily £40 spending spree on snacks and junk food from Tesco. The 32-year-old reality star, who rose to fame on Ibiza Weekender, shared his weight loss journey on Instagram, saying he achieved the transformation without weight loss jabs, instead overhauling his diet and exercise routine.

In a Q&A with fans, Potts explained he started working with a trainer in October last year and has since dropped four stone. He said: 'I’ve just given up binge eating and spending £40 a day in Tesco on snacks.' He added that maintaining the loss during a busy schedule has been a 'big win'.

Potts, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2024, posted a side-by-side transformation photo on Instagram, writing: '4 STONE DOWN BABY. I’m gunna be dodging grids soon.' He credited his trainer for keeping him motivated and noted he still aims to lose another six stone.

Despite his success, Potts ruled out appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, calling himself the 'worst person' for the jungle due to his fears and dislike of rice. However, he expressed interest in a reboot of Ibiza Weekender, the show that launched his TV career a decade ago.

Potts has also appeared on shows like Celebs on the Farm and Celebs Go Dating, and hosts his own podcast, The David Potts Show. He is in talks for future TV projects, hinting at a new co-host for his podcast.
