The Chase's Shaun Wallace Inspires Fans with Motivational Videos

The Chase star Shaun Wallace, known as 'The Dark Destroyer', has been sharing motivational videos online, delighting fans with his positive messages. The 63-year-old barrister, who won Mastermind in 2004 and joined The Chase in 2009, has been offering advice on recent occasions such as GCSE results day and the Bank Holiday weekend.

In his videos, Wallace encourages followers to work to their full potential, drawing on his own experiences. 'Results normally follow hard work. It’s not always about coming top of the class, it’s about coming “top” of your potential,' he said. He also admitted to having failed his own exams, adding: 'Speaking from experience, I failed my exams! Have a great day!'

Wallace also shared a setback when trying golf for the first time, writing: 'You can’t get everything in life right, first time around.' He acknowledged his lack of talent but took it in stride, saying he 'must be good at other stuff'. On the Bank Holiday Sunday, he urged people to 'spread the joy' and the next day encouraged them to 'go and do something positive or visit that person you’ve been meaning to visit'.
