Our Yorkshire Farm star Miles Owen, son of Amanda and Clive Owen, was rushed to hospital this week after paramedics were called to Ravenseat Farm in Yorkshire. Amanda shared an update on Instagram, describing the “hard few days” the family endured after Miles suffered complications from his type 1 diabetes.
Amanda's Update on Miles
In a video posted to her Instagram page, Amanda said: “Look who I’ve got here. It’s Miles. He’s been away… haven’t you, Miles?” Miles explained: “Yeah, I’ve been to the hospital. I was quite poorly this last day or two.” Amanda added: “He’s been a little bit ill. Well, quite a lot ill, actually – needed an ambulance. It was to do with your diabetes, wasn’t it, love? But he’s back.”
Miles' Recovery
Miles said he is “back now and feeling much better.” Amanda echoed: “You’re feeling better, you’re looking better… and the people, weren’t they amazing?” Miles agreed: “Yeah, I can’t thank them enough. Glad to be back.” Amanda responded: “I’m glad you’re back as well, Miles. So that has been what’s going on at Ravenseat, but I’m happy to say that everybody is safe and sound, and I’m really, really proud of you.”
Thanks to the NHS
Amanda flashed a message on screen thanking the NHS crew, writing: “Thank you so much to the ambulance crew, paramedics and all staff at Darlington Hospital.” In the caption, she wrote: “It’s been a hard few days but we’re all here to tell the tale. I’m super proud of you Miles.”
Fan Support
Fans rushed to support the young star. One wrote: “So glad Miles is ok after being poorly. You are right to be proud Amanda, what a lovely young man he is - as indeed all your children are.” Another said: “I’ve got type 1 and we’re a different breed! Honestly, sending love and support, glad you’re okay Miles!”
