The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued the recall warning that the socks can cause injury when worn during high-intensity activities that generate friction, heat, moisture, and pressure.

The recall affects over 200,000 pairs of the heated socks, which were sold exclusively at Costco stores and on Costco.com. The CPSC reported 14 incidents of burns, including 13 cases of first or second-degree burns. Consumers are advised to immediately stop wearing the socks and return them to any Costco location for a full refund.
