TOWIE's Jordan Brook Returns Home After 22-Day Hospital Battle with Meningitis

The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) star Jordan Brook has been discharged from hospital after 22 days of treatment for viral meningitis and encephalitis, a life-threatening brain inflammation. The 31-year-old reality star and barber shared the news on Instagram on April 1, expressing relief and gratitude.

Brook was first diagnosed in March after experiencing symptoms including memory loss, seizures, and brain swelling. He described his case as being in the 'top 1% of the worst cases' his doctor had ever seen. During his hospital stay, he suffered acute memory loss, retaining only distressing memories.

In his emotional Instagram post, Brook thanked his partner Sophie Kasaei, who is pregnant with their first child, a baby boy, for keeping him 'in this fight'. He also praised his father for staying by his side in hospital, his mother for juggling shifts, and the staff at Basildon Hospital's Lister Ward for saving his life.

Brook encouraged others facing similar health battles, writing: 'You can and will beat whatever you are going through - Never Give Up.' He now looks forward to starting a healthy life as a family of three with Kasaei.
