Police have cordoned off a scene in Bolton after a man was taken to hospital following an assault. Officers were called to Manchester Road shortly before 5am this morning (September 30).
Man Hospitalised After Assault
Greater Manchester Police said a man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries. The Manchester Evening News understands the man suffered injuries to his face, resulting in bleeding.
It is not yet known how the injuries were caused, the M.E.N. understands. No arrests have been made so far, and police enquiries are ongoing.
Forensic Tent at Scene
A forensic tent has been placed at the scene, close to the Aldi off Manchester Road. Officers remain in attendance this morning.
