Debbie McGee, the widow of magician Paul Daniels, was spotted enjoying a coffee with her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice in Reading, Berkshire, near her riverside home. The pair appeared flirtatious, smiling at each other during the outing.
At 58, McGee is more than twice the age of 27-year-old Pernice, and she has jokingly referred to herself as the 'grandma' of this year's show. Pernice has a history of forming relationships with dance partners, having dated Georgia May Foote for eight months after their 2015 stint on the programme.
Earlier this year, Pernice commented on the potential for romance on Strictly, saying: 'You spend so much time with your celebrity partner, it really can happen. It's normal... but if I dance with an 87-year-old, there might not be a Strictly Curse,' before laughing: 'I don't know actually, maybe!'
The pair will perform the paso doble to Be Italian by Fergie when Strictly returns to BBC1 this Saturday.
