Linda Robson: Near-Death Pancreas Surgery ICU

Linda Robson, the 68-year-old star of Loose Women, has revealed that she nearly died and spent 10 days in intensive care earlier this year after undergoing major surgery on her pancreas. The health scare left her 'petrified' as doctors battled to save her life.

Details of the Surgery

Linda explained that the surgery was necessary after doctors discovered gallstones in her pancreas. She underwent a procedure to remove most of her pancreas due to the presence of two tumors in a difficult position. Additionally, she required a brain scan as part of her treatment.

Speaking about her experience, Linda said: 'I was petrified in intensive care. I thought I was going to die. I had to have most of my pancreas removed because there were two tumours in a difficult position. I had to have a brain scan as well.'

The Loose Women panelist has since returned to work and is focusing on her health and well-being after this frightening experience.
