Lewis's world changed forever in 2011. The then 18-year-old was tragically struck by a vehicle while walking home, suffering a catastrophic brain injury. For years, he remained in a deep state of unconsciousness, with doctors offering his family little hope for a significant recovery.

Throughout the incredibly difficult decade, Lewis's family, especially his sister Caitlin, never gave up. Their constant love, care, and belief became a cornerstone of his existence.
