Reality TV star and influencer Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about a deeply distressing week, revealing she was forced to rush both her young daughter and her partner, boxer Tommy Fury, to hospital after they were struck down by a severe illness.
A Traumatic Week for the Family
In her latest YouTube vlog, the 26-year-old former Love Island contestant explained that her two-year-old daughter, Bambi, and Fury, also 26, both needed urgent medical attention. The situation left Hague feeling she was 'hanging on by a thread', a sentiment she said was reflected in the state of her nails.
She described the ordeal of seeing her toddler become unwell, stating that Bambi was left 'shaking' and 'crying' in her sleep with a high temperature, which prompted the urgent hospital visit. "I did say that Bambi wasn't well but we've been in the hospital this morning," Hague told her followers, questioning how other content creators manage to vlog daily during such unpredictable times.
Tommy Fury's Prolonged and Severe Sickness
The health crisis began with Tommy Fury approximately nine days prior to her vlog. Initially believed to be a bout of food poisoning or a sickness bug, his condition failed to improve. Hague gave a graphic account of a particularly traumatic night, stating, 'basically last night at 3 in the morning, he was up, TMI, but his soul was leaving his body in that toilet.'
She expressed serious concern for the boxer's health, noting that he had been unable to keep any food or liquid down for over a week. 'He's not eaten a proper meal in over a week, he's lost so much weight, his face is gaunt, literally black circles under his eyes,' Hague said, acknowledging that his symptoms were not normal.
Prioritising Family Over Content
The experience led Molly-Mae to reflect on the reality of sharing her life online, emphasising that some challenges are too personal or overwhelming to document. Her candid admission highlighted the pressure influencers face to maintain a constant stream of content, even during private family emergencies.
While both her daughter and partner are now on the mend, the incident served as a stark reminder of how quickly circumstances can change, forcing the young mother to prioritise her family's wellbeing above all else.
