Tributes have been paid to Sarah Forrester, a 55-year-old mental health worker described as 'incredible, caring and wonderfully kind', who was found dead at her home in Swindon, Wiltshire. Police were called to her address on Baydon Close following reports of disorder on Friday evening.
A 13-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail. Wiltshire Police said there is no wider risk to the public and they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Neighbours reported hearing a youngster shouting at Mrs Forrester days before her death. Daniella Silva, 29, told the Daily Mail: 'A few days ago, I heard someone in the street shouting at Sarah. The next day Sarah called round and apologised for the argument. Sarah did not deserve to be treated like that. She was a wonderfully kind, big-hearted woman.'
Another resident, Kerry Marsh, 53, who also works in mental health, said: 'Sarah was an incredibly kind person and she had a big, warm heart. I was lucky enough to be a good friend of hers for seven years.'
The Kelly Foundation, where Mrs Forrester worked, said staff are 'heartbroken at the sudden loss of our lovely Sarah', adding that she was 'completely committed to the charity and devoted to her two young children'. The statement continued: 'Sarah was an incredible person, kind, thoughtful, considerate, caring and funny... she will be truly, truly missed.'
Detective Inspector Darren Ambrose said: 'This is a serious incident in which a woman has sadly died. We have set up a cordon at the address while an investigation is carried out.' Chief Superintendent Guy Elkins added: 'Our thoughts are with Sarah’s friends and family at this awful time.'
