Helen Flanagan reveals health struggles and family challenges

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has bravely shared her current personal struggles, revealing she's dealing with significant health issues while simultaneously caring for her three young children who have been struck by a sickness bug.

The 33-year-old actress, best known for playing Rosie Webster on the iconic ITV soap, offered fans a raw and honest glimpse into her challenging circumstances through a series of Instagram Stories on Monday.

'A Lot Going On Right Now'

Flanagan didn't hold back when discussing her situation, stating: "I've got a lot going on right now. I've got a lot of chronic health stuff going on and all the kids have been really poorly with a sickness bug."

The mother-of-three shares Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and two-year-old son Charlie with her former partner, professional footballer Scott Sinclair, from whom she separated in 2022.

Cryptic Message About Trust

In addition to discussing her health and family challenges, Flanagan posted a seemingly pointed message about unreliable people in her life. She shared a quote that read: "Stop telling them everything, they don't need to know your next move. Protect your energy, not everyone can handle it."

She accompanied this with her own caption: "Also had a lot of people in my life who just aren't trustworthy." This has led to speculation among followers about whether this comments reference her past relationships or other personal connections.

Ongoing Health Journey

This isn't the first time Flanagan has been open about her health struggles. Earlier this year, the actress revealed she had been diagnosed with coeliac disease after suffering from debilitating symptoms including chronic pain, brain fog, and anxiety.

Her candid approach to sharing personal challenges has resonated with many of her followers, who frequently praise her honesty about the realities of motherhood and maintaining wellbeing under pressure.

Despite the current difficulties, Flanagan continues to maintain her acting career and raise her three children as a single parent, demonstrating remarkable resilience in the face of personal and health challenges.
