Made In Chelsea's Tabitha Willett Knew She'd Marry Harry Hoare After 3-Day First Date
Tabitha Willett reveals she knew she'd marry Harry Hoare

Made In Chelsea star Tabitha Willett has opened up about the moment she knew she would marry her now-fiancé, Harry Hoare, revealing their first date lasted an astonishing three days. The 33-year-old, who is currently expecting her second child, shared the intimate details of their whirlwind romance and subsequent engagement in a personal essay.

From Instagram DMs to a Three-Day Date

Tabitha disclosed that she and Harry, who had known each other for years, began dating at the start of last year. It was on January 1st, 2023, that she decided to reply to one of his Instagram stories, suggesting they meet for a drink. "He loves telling the story that I 'slid into his DMs'," she wrote for The Wedding Edition.

That initial drink quickly escalated into a marathon first encounter. "We went for a drink, our first date lasted three days, and I called my best friend Ollie Locke after he left and said, 'I am going to marry this man'," Tabitha recalled. She described the connection as feeling "very uncomplicated" and aligned, a practical but profound certainty she attributed to being in their 30s and both being parents.

A Dubai Proposal and a 'Placeholder' Ring

The couple's relationship progressed rapidly. After just 10 months together, Harry proposed during a family holiday to Dubai in October 2023. The romantic moment occurred at The Lana hotel, part of the Dorchester Collection.

After watching the sunset from a rooftop bar, Harry excused himself to 'grab something' from their room. When Tabitha entered, she found the suite filled with rose petals and candles, with a table set for a private dinner on the balcony. Harry then got down on one knee and proposed with a 'placeholder ring', while Tabitha was serendipitously wearing a long white dress with a cape.

Pregnancy, a Parisian Babymoon, and Wedding Plans

Weeks after announcing their engagement, Tabitha revealed in December 2023 that she is expecting her second child. She shares her daughter, Ottilie, with her ex-fiancé Fraser Carruthers, while Harry also has a daughter.

The couple celebrated the new year with a lavish babymoon in Paris, staying at the five-star Hôtel Plaza Athénée for £1,800 per night. They explored museums and enjoyed fine dining, with Tabitha sharing glamorous snaps from their trip on Instagram.

As for their nuptials, Tabitha has confirmed plans for a 'low-key small wedding' in January. She has already begun browsing bridal outfits, insisting, "If it's not white I'm not wearing it." Their engagement was formally announced in the births, marriages, and deaths section of The Times newspaper.

This happy news comes after a period of change for Tabitha, whose brief on-screen romance with MIC co-star Arman Pouladian-Kari was recently featured, and whose previous four-year relationship and engagement to Fraser Carruthers ended in 2020.
