Peter Andre's Parenting Advice for Molly-Mae Hague Amid 'Terrible Twos' Tears
Peter Andre's advice to Molly-Mae Hague over toddler tantrums

In a heartfelt show of solidarity, singer and columnist Peter Andre has reached out with words of wisdom for Molly-Mae Hague, after the influencer confessed to being left "in tears" by her toddler's challenging behaviour.

Navigating the 'Terrible Twos'

The 26-year-old former Love Island star, who shares two-year-old daughter Bambi with boxer Tommy Fury, recently opened up about the frustrations of parenting a child in the notorious "terrible twos" phase. Reacting to her candid admission in his weekly column for new! magazine, Andre, a father-of-five, offered his seasoned perspective.

"Molly-Mae Hague recently said she’s been left in tears over daughter Bambi’s behaviour now she’s in the terrible twos," Peter wrote. He drew a parallel with his own family, noting his youngest child's similar stage: "Belle’s 20 months now, and we’re seeing little tantrums."

Andre's Reassuring Words from Experience

Andre, who shares children Junior and Princess with ex-wife Katie Price, and Millie, Theo, and Belle with wife Emily, emphasised that such phases are temporary. He urged Molly-Mae to trust her instincts.

"As long as you’re bringing them up the way you think is correct, they’ll go through these stages – and then it will pass," he advised. Using his nine-year-old son Theo as a prime example, Andre offered hope: "I remember Theo was really, really difficult until he was about four years old – now he’s nine, he’s the most wonderful, adorable, loving child you could ever meet!"

Molly-Mae's 'Emotional Rollercoaster' Weekend

Andre's advice comes just days after Molly-Mae detailed her struggles on her podcast. After feeling she had "massively turned a big corner" in her motherhood journey, the last two weekends proved intensely challenging.

"She’s literally had me in tears for two consecutive weekends now, which has not been fun," the 'Ultimate Influencer' confessed, describing it as an "emotional rollercoaster." Her mother, Debbie, who had been staying to help, humorously noted she needed to go home and "decompress," after observing Bambi "trying to assert her dominance as a not even three-year-old."

The difficulties were compounded when both Bambi and Tommy Fury fell ill, leading to a hospital visit. Molly-Mae summarised the stressful period by saying things were "hanging by a thread."

Peter Andre's public message serves as a reminder of the universal challenges of parenting and the value of shared experience during the tough toddler years.
