Jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer proudly displayed her growing baby bump during a weekend outing in Beverly Hills, radiating pregnancy glow ahead of welcoming her first child with fiancé Geoffrey Ogunlesi.
A Beverly Hills Lunch Date
The 48-year-old expectant mother was spotted on Saturday enjoying a lunch date at the upscale Italian restaurant E. Baldi. Meyer opted for a casual yet chic look, wearing low-slung blue jeans that highlighted her burgeoning bump. The Pacific Palisades native is expecting a baby girl with her fiancé, The Ogunlesi Group CEO Geoffrey Ogunlesi, 34.
The couple, who have been together since 2023, got engaged on August 31, 2024. Despite a 14-year age gap, with Meyer being the older partner, their relationship appears to be thriving. Meyer publicly celebrated Ogunlesi's 34th birthday in November, calling him "the most wonderful, handsome, patient, loving human and I'm so lucky you are mine."
Pregnancy Cravings and Celebrity Congratulations
Meyer gave fans a glimpse into her pregnancy journey via an Instagram Story on Sunday. She revealed her "pregnancy cravings are real and confusing" after purchasing four pints of Van Leeuwen ice cream. The baby announcement was made last Friday with a heartfelt message: "Hey baby girl. We love, love, love you!"
The news was met with an outpouring of support from Meyer's famous friends. Congratulatory comments flooded in from a star-studded list including Kim Kardashian, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner, Rachel Zoe, and Monica Lewinsky. Her talent manager, whose clients include Young Thug and Alabama Barker, also commented, "We love you!"
Family Ties and Co-Parenting
Both Meyer and Ogunlesi come from prominent, wealthy families. Meyer is the daughter of Wild Bunch CEO Ronald Meyer, while Ogunlesi is the son of Global Infrastructure Partners chairman Adebayo Ogunlesi.
Meyer was previously married to actor Tobey Maguire for nine years; their marriage ended in 2016, with the divorce finalised in 2020. They share two children: a 19-year-old daughter, Ruby, who is reportedly a freshman at Brown University in Rhode Island, and a 16-year-old son, Otis. Notably, Ogunlesi appears to have a good relationship with Maguire, having been pictured happily together with Ruby as recently as November 10.
Meyer has spoken candidly about the effort required for successful co-parenting. In a 2022 podcast appearance, she admitted it was "a lot of work" but described Maguire as a "brother" she loves deeply, stating they now openly discuss their significant others and support each other.
In her professional life, Meyer recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her eponymous jewellery company, which expanded into fragrance and beauty in 2022. Her passion for the craft began early; she reportedly learned how to make jewellery from her grandmother at just six years old.
