Former Love Island contestant Georgia Harrison has shared a worrying health update, revealing she was rushed to hospital with a 'nasty infection' just weeks after becoming a mother.

A Whirlwind Week for the New Mum

The 31-year-old reality TV star, who welcomed her first child, daughter Sahara Jean Stacey, with boyfriend Jack Stacey on 30th October 2025, posted a series of candid images on Instagram detailing her unexpected medical ordeal. The photos included a shot of her being transported by ambulance.

In her post, Georgia explained she had ended up back at the same hospital where she gave birth. She reassured her 1.4 million followers that she is now 'on the road to recovery' and is focusing on her first Christmas as a family of three.

Joy Interrupted by Illness

The hospitalisation comes during what should have been a blissful 'baby bubble' period for Georgia and Jack. Last month, the couple announced Sahara's birth with heartfelt social media posts, sharing intimate first photos of them holding their newborn.

Their announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from fellow celebrities, including Gemma Collins, Molly Smith, and Arabella Chi. Among the recent snaps Georgia shared were tender moments of her cradling Sahara, including a visit to the ITV daytime show Loose Women.

Facing Mum-Shaming Over Baby Hack

Prior to her hospital stay, Georgia found herself defending her parenting choices online. She posted a TikTok video sharing baby tips, one of which involved using puppy training pads in her daughter's bassinet and on changing areas to protect against mess.

The hack was quickly criticised by viewers and healthcare professionals, who warned the pads could contain chemicals irritating to a baby's skin. Georgia responded gracefully, stating: 'Guys it's all good I'm a new mum so I'm still learning too... I'll grab the baby ones from Lidl later.'

Despite these challenges, Georgia's latest update strikes a positive note. She is looking forward to celebrating the festive season at home with Jack and baby Sahara, putting a difficult few weeks behind her.
