Zwilling J. A. Henckels Aktiengesellschaft has recalled approximately 113,440 Enfinigy 1.5-l and Enfinigy Pro 1.5-l electric kettles in the United States, according to a notice from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Recall Reason
The recall was issued due to concerns that the kettles' handles could detach or loosen, posing a burn risk from spilling hot contents. The company received five reports of incidents in connection with separated handles, one of which resulted in a second-degree burn. The Safety Commission said there have been 163 reports of the hand grip detaching or loosening.
Where Were the Kettles Sold?
These affected kettles were sold at HomeGoods stores nationwide and online at zwilling.com from December 2019 to February 2026, and at Costco stores between September 2019 and November 2025.
What Consumers Should Do
Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled kettles, contact Zwilling for a refund, and follow instructions to make the appliance unusable by unplugging and cutting the cord before disposal.
