Home and Away actress Sarah Roberts, known for playing Willow Harris on the Australian soap between 2017 and 2021, has undergone surgery to remove a non-cancerous growth the size of a "golf ball" from her uterus.
The star had a myomectomy, a surgical procedure that removes non-cancerous fibroids from the uterus while keeping the organ intact to preserve fertility. She shared the news with fans on Instagram, posting pictures from her time in hospital, including one taken just before her operation.

In her post, Roberts told followers: "This time last week, I would’ve been in the theatre, or just coming out. Not the type of theatre I usually go to!"
Keeping her sense of humour, she added: "I had a myomectomy to remove a fibroid I’ve now nicknamed "Felicia", so I can aptly say, "Bye Felicia!" and wince in pain as I laugh at my own joke!"
Fibroid caused severe symptoms
The actress explained the impact the growth had on her daily life, saying it "grew to the size of a golf ball, sending me to emergency whenever my period came and making it impossible to do anything without looking like I’d stepped off the set of Kill Bill!"
She also noted that her anaesthetist told her they had operated on a woman with a fibroid the size of a "BEACH BALL" the week before.
