Sienna Miller on Returning to Work Three Weeks After Birth

British actress Sienna Miller, 44, has confessed she is surviving on 'very little sleep' after returning to work just three weeks following the birth of her third child. Appearing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Miller discussed the challenges of juggling a newborn with her career.

Return to Work

Miller, who welcomed her baby with boyfriend Oli Green, 29, made a glamorous appearance on the chat show shortly after giving birth. The couple already share a two-year-old daughter, while Miller is also mother to 13-year-old Marlowe from her previous relationship with Tom Sturridge.

During the interview, Miller admitted: 'It feels like stringing sentences together is a bit challenging. I'm on very little sleep but I'm madly in love with my baby.' She described the transition as 'crazy,' adding, 'It's crazy to be talking words and wearing a dress. What has happened from pajama gate.'

Challenges of Parenting

When asked which child is harder to manage, Miller recounted a nightmare transatlantic flight with her toddler and newborn. 'I would have said the teenage girl would be harder to juggle until the transatlantic flight I took yesterday with the toddler and the newborn. The toddler now wins hands down. It was an absolute disaster. There's no negotiating. I got to the immigration line and just broke down.'

Pregnancy Announcement

Miller revealed her third pregnancy at the Fashion Awards in December 2023, showcasing her baby bump on the red carpet. She had previously announced her second pregnancy at the Vogue World Show in September 2023.

Speaking about her relationship with Oli Green, Miller told Harper's Bazaar: 'I didn't expect to take it seriously and then quite quickly, I fell in love. I wasn't like, "I'm gonna get a younger boyfriend." It was more, "F***! Why are you young? That's so annoying." There is a difference in the way that generation of men respect women.'

Miller is currently promoting her new action film Jack Ryan: Ghost War.
