Frankie Valli, the 92-year-old legendary singer, has cancelled all his remaining concert dates for 2026 to concentrate on his health. The announcement was made on Friday via social media, where Valli expressed his regret to fans who had purchased tickets.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows,” Valli wrote. “But I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health. I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon.”
His representative, Victoria Varela, explained that the decision to cancel rather than postpone was made to avoid leaving fans’ money in limbo. “Promoters want to prolong things and not give people their money back,” she told Variety. “But he needs to not keep rescheduling these shows. He realised he needed to take a break and get his health in order.”
Valli, known for his tireless performing schedule, plans to devote the next six months to his health, with a potential return to the stage in 2027. The cancellations include shows that had already been rescheduled from April, now entirely off the calendar. Ticketmaster lists nine cancelled dates, including performances in Scottsdale, Anaheim, and Newark.
His last performance was on 22 February at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula. Despite one attendee noting he seemed “frail,” others praised his stamina, with one fan remarking he “stood through 18 songs, never sat down once.” Valli rose to fame with the Four Seasons and as a solo artist, with hits like “Walk Like a Man” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2026.
