Can You Spot the Hidden Bighorn Sheep in This Mountain Photo?

A stunning optical illusion photograph of a Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep blending into its rocky surroundings at the summit of Mount Evans in Colorado has left viewers puzzled. The image, captured by amateur photographer Anthony Tepool, shows the animal perfectly camouflaged among the rocks and rubble.

Mr Tepool, 51, from Evans, Colorado, took the photo on September 8 in the Arapaho National Forest. He said: 'I spotted movement while walking toward my Jeep and saw the Bighorn up in the huge rocks. I got several shots as the sheep leapt from rock to rock going right to left.'

The photographer, who has been an amateur for 30 years, described the images as his best 'hide and seek' photos yet. 'You have to look really hard to see them,' he added. The pictures were taken with a Samsung NX2000 using a 20-50 mm lens, which Mr Tepool noted was his first outing with the new camera.

Mr Tepool hopes the images provide a fun challenge for viewers, saying: 'The hide and seek challenge wouldn't be quite so good if I'd zoomed in any more. I'm really pleased with the pictures.'
