Pentagon UFO Files: Expert Warns of Nuclear Distraction

The Pentagon has officially declassified 40 new UFO files containing explosive information dating back to the 1940s, but an expert fears the release is a calculated distraction to hide a terrifying nuclear reality.

Among the newly released documents is a high-level briefing detailing a conference between scientists at the Los Alamos National Lab, the historical base for the development of atomic bombs. The papers describe mysterious "green fireballs" sighted near the ultra-sensitive facility, raising major national security alarms.

Expert Warns of Nuclear Focus

Speaking on the release, investigative journalist Ross Coulthart told NewsNation that the pattern points to something far more sinister than random cosmic anomalies. He said: "Something is taking a very close intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance interest in nuclear weapons and nuclear power."

Coulthart highlighted that the unsealed records show a deeply unsettling focus on America's atomic arsenal. He said: "One of them is over the Pantex nuclear plant in Amarillo, Texas. It's one of the most sensitive nuclear sites in America. One of the most highly protected."

The file details a chilling 2015 encounter where a silent, diamond-shaped craft was spotted directly over the secure facility by both local media and security personnel. According to the documents, the object hovered completely silently with no visible engine or means of propulsion. Coulthart said: "It hovered with apparent impunity over what is one of the most sensitive facilities in America, and that raised an extremely serious security concern."

Pentagon's Anticipation of UFOs

While the files prove the Pentagon has been secretly monitoring the bizarre threats for nearly 80 years, they also suggest military officials were rarely caught off guard. In fact, they were expecting them. Coulthart said: "They've been taking it very, very seriously, and right back in 1947, it's quite clear. The Pentagon's investigators from the US Air Force were anticipating these sightings. They could almost predict when they were going to happen."

Public Still in the Dark

Despite the massive data dump, the UFO expert is convinced the public is still being kept in the dark about the true, terrifying scope of the phenomenon. He argues that the declassified files are merely scratching the surface of what the government actually holds in its vaults. Coulthart added: "They clearly know a heck of a lot more than they're letting on, and really what we are being given, I think, really is the least sensational videos of what I'm being told they're really sitting on."
