Newcastle United are awaiting the return of several big-name stars to pre-season training after a number of absentees for Saturday's friendly against Gateshead.
Tino Livramento
Following Kieran Trippier's departure, Livramento remains the only first-team right-back in the squad. He was forced to pull out of the England World Cup squad with a calf injury and underwent surgery in early June. He is not expected to feature for Newcastle until the final stages of their preparation.
Lewis Miley
The young midfielder fractured his fibula in training in May and missed the end of last season. He has been pictured on the grass in training and is expected to fly out to La Manga.
Joelinton
Newcastle's No. 7 was missing at Gateshead but it was more a case of managing his minutes as he prepares for the new season. He could feature against Bristol City on Wednesday.
Sven Botman
The Dutchman sat out Gateshead with a minor knock. Head coach Eddie Howe said: "Sven just took a little knock to the face yesterday in training, but we don't think it's anything too serious."
Aladji Bamba
The midfielder only signed from Monaco on Friday so will be integrated into the squad this week and could play against Bristol City before heading to Spain.
William Osula
The striker played in the behind-closed-doors game with Darlington, but a tight groin meant he missed Gateshead. "Will just had a tight groin, so again, nothing serious," said Howe. "We anticipate that all the injured players that we have are on a good track at the moment."
Nick Woltemade
The German is on track to return to training this week after featuring for Germany in the World Cup. He has spent time training with his former club Werder Bremen.
Malick Thiaw
Like Woltemade, Thiaw was on World Cup duty with Germany and is scheduled to return this week.
Bruno Guimaraes
The player everyone is focused on, with interest from Arsenal. Bruno is due to link up with the squad on July 31 for the La Manga camp, when his future could become clearer.
Anthony Elanga
The Sweden winger returned to training early after the World Cup, but has not been used in pre-season. It is expected he will be eased back into gametime after playing 216 minutes for his country.
Bazoumana Toure
We've yet to see the Ivory Coast winger on Tyneside following his move from Hoffenheim, but it's been almost a month since they exited the World Cup, so he is another due to report in this week.
Yoane Wissa
United will hope Wissa's World Cup campaign can spark his domestic form after a disappointing first season with the club. He will be in the party for Spain at the end of the week.
Dan Burn
The big defender went all the way to the final weekend of the World Cup, although didn't feature in England's 'Bronze Medal' win over France. Burn will be given extra time off but will be available for the VisitMalta weekender.
