New Victorian Premier Ben Carroll has announced his first action in office: a royal commission into the construction sector. He made the announcement while speaking alongside his new deputy premier, Gabrielle Williams.
Special Prosecutor Established
Carroll said he would also establish a special prosecutor to work in parallel with the royal commission.
He added: "Let me make one thing very clear: I am not Daniel Andrews. I am not Jacinta Allan. I will do things differently, because different times require a new approach."
