A 13-year-old girl has been bitten by a shark off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The incident occurred at a beach in Bargara, near Bundaberg, just after 4pm on Friday.
The teenager was taken to the local surf club where the bleeding was stopped. She is now being treated for minor injuries to her back at Bundaberg Hospital.
Authorities have not released further details about the species of shark involved or the circumstances of the attack.
