Pasta is a versatile and delicious dish, but if you want to speed up the cooking process, experts recommend ditching the pot in favour of a frying pan. According to the food experts at Allrecipes, cooking pasta in a single frying pan alongside the sauce is quicker and easier than the traditional boiling method.
Why Use a Frying Pan?
One-pan pasta dishes allow you to cook the pasta and sauce together, saving time and reducing cleanup. The method works by using a lidded frying pan to simmer the pasta in stock and sauce ingredients, typically taking around 10 minutes. This avoids the need to boil a large pot of water separately.
