Stacey Solomon has been seen giving an update with 'her man' Joe Swash after they revealed their plans to expand upon their menagerie of pets by fostering ponies.
Some may know that former EastEnders star Joe has been building a lake on their huge Essex property, with the plans featuring in his and Stacey's BBC reality show, Stacey & Joe.
Earlier this year, the BBC confirmed that their family reality show will be back for a third run and according to the broadcaster, "the series, which follows the warmth, chaos and humour of family life at Pickle Cottage, follows Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash as they juggle their busiest chapter yet."
A synopsis added: "This time, however, that family dynamic expands beyond the cottage gates, as Joe finally takes the leap to realise a long-held dream: opening his own fishing lake and glamping site. What begins as Joe’s personal passion quickly becomes a full family endeavour, naturally drawing in Stacey’s creativity, the kids’ energy and the wider family’s support."
"Joe hopes the lake can be more than just a business. Having always found fishing to be a form of therapy, he’s passionate about creating a space where young people – particularly teenagers struggling with ADHD or mental health challenges – can come and spend time by the water. Across three episodes, we follow the highs, setbacks and humour of a family pulling together to achieve something meaningful – all leading to the grand opening of Joe’s fishing lake, where Stacey and Joe finally see if their shared dream has paid off."
While fans will be waiting for the series to air, Stacey and Joe regularly share updates on social media from their home, with the latest being their plans to foster ponies. Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (June 16), Stacey went to find her husband and as she filmed him on their sprawling land, she said: "Here he is! That's my man!"
They went on to offer updates on the progress of their plans for their expansive space and Stacey said: "He's been building an enclosure for if we, well, when we because we've gone far with it now, foster some ponies. So, I've just come down to see it." Delighted, the Loose Women star is heard saying: "This is exciting, bubba!" before she ended the clip: "This is actually happening!"
It comes after Stacey shared their plans in a "special little update" earlier this month. She shared a video of herself and Joe reflecting on their family camping trip, in which she said: "So many of you, since I posted the video of the girls walking the pony, are like, 'You should get ponies'. 'You should get ponies at Pickle Cottage!' We couldn't have ponies at Pickle Cottage with the ducks and the chickens and everything else."
"However, Joe did put stables on his lake, and we are really doing lots of research and have met with an amazing sanctuary for ponies, and we are considering fostering some ponies." She explained that they were currently in the early stages of planning for fostering ponies, as Joe said: "We've got to get it right!" Stacey added: "We want to be really good foster parents," as Joe beamed: "Wish us luck, guys."
"I thought I would let you all know that we're in the process of fostering some ponies which will be really exciting for us..." Stacey concluded. Alongside the clip, the Loose Women star also penned: "Will keep you updated on our pony fostering journey."
