The Ayrshire Vintage Tractor & Machinery Club is set to host its 41st Annual Rally on Sunday, July 19, at Whitefordhill Agri-Centre on the A70, just outside Ayr. The event promises a day of family-friendly entertainment, with a wide array of exhibits and ring events.
Exhibits and Features
According to a spokesperson for the organisers, entries include vintage and classic tractors, classic cars, implements, motorcycles, stationary engines, heavy plant machinery, commercial vehicles, bicycles, and scaled models. This year's rally highlights two major anniversaries: the 80th anniversary of the Ferguson TE20 and the 70th anniversary of the Ferguson FE35, as well as the 50th anniversary of the Q-Cab, with a focus on early models from 1978 to 1984.
Ring Events and Attractions
Visitors can enjoy ring events such as 'dancing' tractors, a trailer challenge, and a parade of tractors. The rally also features an Autojumble, craft demonstrations, and trade stands offering various goods.
Admission and Timings
The event runs from 10am to 4pm. Admission is £5 for adults, with free entry for children and free car parking.
