Amazon Prime Video has announced that the fifth series of Jeremy Clarkson's farming show, 'Clarkson's Farm', will premiere on June 3. The new season will consist of eight episodes, with the first four dropping on June 3, followed by two-episode batches on June 10 and June 17.
The series follows Clarkson, his partner Lisa Hogan, and farm manager Kaleb Cooper as they manage Diddly Squat Farm and The Farmer's Dog pub in the Cotswolds. The logline for the fifth series teases upheaval in the UK farming community due to a government budget, prompting Clarkson to implement major changes, including high-tech innovations and Kaleb's first trip abroad.
While Amazon has not officially confirmed a sixth series, Clarkson has stated that the show has been renewed. He hinted at plans for a seventh series, telling The Sun, 'We'll definitely do six – Amazon want to [do season six] and I want to. I've got a good idea for six. I said I'll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I've got two quite good ones, so we'll do six and then we'll see.'
