Greta Thunberg has rejected accusations of antisemitism as she prepares to join a second flotilla bound for Gaza. The environmental activist, who was detained and deported by Israeli forces in June when her British-flagged yacht neared Gaza, is set to sail again this Sunday.
Thunberg accused Israel of blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza, though the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claim they have delivered 900 aid trucks to the territory in recent months. The activist and her fellow campaigners continue to press for humanitarian access and justice for Palestinians.
Israel has accused Thunberg of antisemitism over her support for the flotilla, but she has strongly denied the allegations. The flotilla aims to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza, which Israel says is necessary to prevent arms from reaching Hamas.
