A Scotland fan supporting the Tartan Army was spotted near Miami's South Beach impersonating a Brazil supporter, complete with a Brazil strip and a buzzcut resembling legendary striker Ronaldo's hairstyle from the 2002 World Cup. The fan later revealed a cheeky surprise under his top.
Fan tricks Brazilian journalist
The man, wearing a kilt and a Brazil jersey, was approached by a Brazilian journalist who noticed his unusual haircut. When asked where he was from, the fan replied in a thick Scottish accent, 'I'm from Brazil. Copacabana!' The journalist then questioned the haircut, and the fan responded, 'Because I love my countrymen. R9 Brazil! He's the greatest.'
Revealing the hidden saltire
When asked which team he would support, the fan lifted his Brazil shirt to reveal a saltire—the Scottish flag—shaved into his chest hair. The journalist burst out laughing. The video has since garnered 40,000 likes online.
Scotland's World Cup hopes
Scotland faces Brazil at Miami Stadium at 11pm in a crucial World Cup match. Thousands of Tartan Army fans have been in Miami after a week of partying in Boston. Scotland has never beaten Brazil in four World Cup meetings since 1974, with three losses and one draw. A victory would secure Scotland's first-ever progression to the knockout stages.
