Actress Kayla Wallace, best known for her role in the Paramount+ series Landman, has joyfully announced that she and her husband, fellow actor Kevin McGarry, are expecting their first child.
A Double Celebration in New York City
The 32-year-old star shared the exciting news with her fans on Tuesday, first through a heartfelt post on her Instagram. She showcased her prominent baby bump in the photo, captioning it: 'We can’t wait to meet you, baby♥️ Premiering 2026.'
Later that same evening, Wallace made her first public appearance since the announcement at the season two Landman premiere in New York City. She confidently displayed her midsection while holding her bump, dressed in a stylish satin ivory minidress complemented by black gloves and stockings. It was clear the veteran soap opera actress was several months into her pregnancy.
By her side for the celebratory event was her supportive husband, Kevin McGarry, an actor renowned for his work in various Hallmark channel productions.
A Supportive Partnership and Private Wedding
The couple's strong bond has been evident since they first met on the set of the Hallmark series When Calls The Heart in 2018. In a past interview with Entertainment Tonight, Wallace gushed about her husband's unwavering support, especially during her work on Landman.
'He supports me through everything,' she said. 'We were lucky enough for him to be able to come with me to Texas. He drove me to Texas... He's the most supportive husband ever and I am just so grateful that we get to experience this together.'
Regarding their wedding, which was confirmed in September 2024 after their December 2022 engagement, Wallace highlighted their vows as the most memorable part. 'That was just an experience that I... it's once-in-a-lifetime. I was on cloud nine!' she exclaimed.
From Hallmark to the Oil Fields of Landman
While both actors found fame on When Calls The Heart, Wallace has since moved on to star as the tough lawyer Rebecca Falcone in Taylor Sheridan's drama, Landman. The series, which features a star-studded cast including Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, is a modern tale of fortune-seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.
