Former Bachelorette Couple's Uncomfortable Premiere Encounter
In a scene straight out of a script, former The Bachelorette stars Georgia Love and Lee Elliot managed to narrowly avoid a face-to-face meeting at the Wicked premiere in Melbourne on Wednesday night. The ex-couple, who confirmed their separation in February after months of speculation, found themselves in the same venue but on entirely different sides.
A Night of Close Calls and Social Media Posts
Both Love and Elliot took to their individual Instagram accounts to share posts from the event, though their paths never physically crossed. An eyewitness revealed the pair missed each other on the red carpet by approximately twenty minutes. Lee appeared in high spirits, posing alongside a friend and humorously captioning his post as a 'date night'. Meanwhile, Georgia shared a photograph of the stage and the large screen to her own page, making no mention of her former husband's presence.
This isn't the first time the former couple have had a close call in the months following their split. They also successfully avoided one another at the premiere of Beetlejuice The Musical back in May, suggesting a concerted effort to maintain distance while navigating the same social circles.
The End of a Love Story
Georgia Love and Lee Elliot, who met on the 2016 season of The Bachelorette and were married for four years, broke the news of their separation in a joint statement released in February. They described the decision to part ways as "incredibly difficult" after nine wonderful years together.

In a deeply emotional interview on Mamamia's No Filter podcast with Kate Langbroek, Georgia discussed the marriage breakdown, breaking down in tears as she confessed to feeling she had let down her followers and fans. "People have been so wonderful following our story since the start," she said. "I've been really sad feeling like I've let people down."
