Wednesday Season 2's Bizarre Slurp Sound Explained
Wednesday Season 2's Bizarre Slurp Sound Explained

In the chaotic finale of Wednesday season 2 on Netflix, the seemingly comic relief character Slurp—Pugsley's pet zombie—is revealed to be a manipulative psychopath. His real name is Isaac Night, a 'DaVinci' mad scientist who created his own clockwork heart and the LOIS machine at Willow Hill that stripped outsiders of their abilities. He is also the brother of Francoise, Tyler's mother, whom Wednesday helped escape from Willow Hill.

Isaac eats brains to restore his former appearance and reunites with Francoise and Tyler, aiming to complete his experiment. Obsessed with stripping his sister of the Hyde 'curse' she hated, he views everyone else as collateral damage. Thirty years ago, Isaac was at school with Gomez Addams, his roommate and best friend, who had electrical powers at the time. Isaac used Gomez as a power source for his machine, draining him and nearly killing him.

Morticia Addams came to Gomez's rescue, cutting off Isaac's hand and stopping the experiment, which blew up Isaac's laboratory. Isaac was killed and buried under the Skull Tree. However, his hand was reanimated in the explosion and became known as Thing, Wednesday's bodiless partner.
