The Voice UK semi-final aired tonight (October 24) with 12 acts competing for a place in the grand final, but viewers were distracted just minutes into the show.
Only one act from each team will be picked, resulting in just four finalists. However, fans quickly noticed that host Emma Willis was presenting two major TV shows just seconds apart.
Emma Willis Hosting Two Shows
Willis is one of the new Strictly Come Dancing hosts on the BBC, with the latest episode of the dance show wrapping up moments before The Voice UK began, which she is also hosting.
One fan remarked: "Emma Willis is busy tonight #Strictly #TheVoiceUK." Another agreed, writing: "Saturday night is Emma Willis night as she's now on #thevoice on the other channel #Strictly."
Viewer Reactions
A third viewer shared: "Emma Willis on both ITV and BBC at the same time tonight. She does know if she’s on all the time viewers will lose interest in her. Less is more @EmmaWillis #TheVoice #strictly." Another quipped: "Emma Willis running from the #StrictlyComeDancing studios to #TheVoiceUK studios!"
Sadly for fans of the star, Willis won't be back to present The Voice UK next series. In a major shake-up, she will be replaced by Stacey Solomon and Alesha Dixon.
Final Line-Up Changes
The current series will conclude next Saturday (October 31) with a nearly two-hour long episode, in which the winner will be crowned and walk away with a Universal Music Group recording contract and £50,000 in cash.
Next week's final will also be the last time viewers will see Sir Tom Jones, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones as coaches. Girls Aloud star Cheryl and rapper Aitch will replace them next series, while Kelly Rowland and will.i.am will be back.
The Voice UK final airs on Saturday, October 31 at 8.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
