Former Traitors winner Rachel Duffy has predicted that James Acaster will unravel in the final two episodes of Celebrity Traitors, and she is convinced a Traitor will win the show - but on their own.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Duffy, who won series four of the civilian show alongside fellow Traitor Stephen Libby, said: "Something's niggling in the back of my mind that James Acaster is going to unravel, and it might have a knock-on effect on the other two."
She praised Maya as "the epitome of what a Traitor should be: cool, calm, and collected, under the radar, and enjoying it," but added: "I think it's a Traitor win for sure, but I don't know how those three are going to fare together. I think the trio will be broken up."
Predicting a chaotic finish
With Joanne and Sharon at risk of banishment after last week's cliffhanger, Duffy said: "I'm trying to run over the different end games and how it all might work out, because obviously a Faithful's going next, and then it leaves it really, really tight."
She added: "Something's telling me that the three Traitors won't win. I can feel a storm coming; something very chaotic coming that we might not have predicted. Something's telling me a Traitor will win, and it's going to be one of them on their own."
Reflecting on her own castle experience, Duffy said: "I was really panicky for the first couple of days, and then I chilled out after we got Fiona out. And then Harriet came at me, and the pressure came again. After Harriet left, I just thought, 'Oh, here's the game. Just let's have a bit of fun and play it.'"
Holiday planning tactics and a new novel
Duffy has also used her skills from the show to help with group holiday planning, after research by Sundeals revealed Brits spend an average of 21 hours negotiating holiday plans. She advised identifying an ally before entering the group chat and limiting choices to move things along.
She is also working on a young adult fantasy novel, with help from her on-screen 'nemesis' Harriet, who gave her "a very gentle nudge to finish the book." Asked about returning for an All Stars version, Duffy said she would be "right there, bags packed," and would want to play as a Faithful - "I'd only ever play if it was all Traitors."
