Celebrity Traitors viewers flagged a major mistake after the murder in plain sight reveal and the latest banishment, warning it could expose the Traitors. The BBC reality gameshow's week four opener aired on Thursday (October 22), resolving last Friday's cliffhanger.
Murder in Plain Sight Revealed
The episode opened with the long-awaited result of the murder attempt. Ross Kemp had yawned, and Traitor James Acaster sealed the deal with the words: "Sorry, am I boring you?" The murder came after Traitors Maya Jama and James had recruited content creator King Kenny, filling the vacancy left by banished Traitor Hannah Fry.
Earlier, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock had taught comedian Miranda Hart the dance moves to the band's hit Touch, while Miranda dubbed herself "Big Mix". The Traitors then attempted to murder either Jerry Hall or Ross Kemp in plain sight by "boring them to death", spraying perfume from a peacock bottle to encourage a yawn.
Jerry Hall Banished
After a mission, the celebrities returned to the castle and reflected on Ross's murder. Despite Sharon Rooney figuring out the perfume bottle's role, the Traitors escaped unpunished as the Faithful banished Jerry Hall. As she revealed her identity, the supermodel said: "I've loved being with you all. I've had the most fun. I haven't laughed so much in years. Truly its been a great pleasure. I'm sorry I made some mistakes but I have always been a faithful. I told you. I love y'all."
Fans Warn of Exposure Risk
Fans took to social media to warn that the banishment could expose Maya and James. @faavourr said: "Them voting Jerry is gonna set them in hot water cuz it's just James & Maya left in the room Ross was murdered in #CelebrityTraitors." @dreifachdoppels commented: "Why would Maya and James go for Jerry?!!! That puts the suspicion back on them since they were the only other ones in the room when Ross was murdered #CelebrityTraitors."
@grace_is_sugoi wrote: "Jerry going is going to hurt Maya and James, they're going to look at who was in the library with Ross #CelebrityTraitors." @MillieNicolee posted: "Can't believe we lost Jerry Hall and Ross Kemp in one episode #CelebrityTraitors." @henriksen1 echoed: "Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall in the same episode? There were two murders in plain sight that night. One by the traitors, one by hopeless faithful. Shame on ye. #celebritytraitors."
@eds_afterglow noted: "So we've waited a week for either Ross Kemp or Jerry to go, for them to both go on the same episode anyway #TheCelebrityTraitors #CelebrityTraitors #TheTraitors." @BHeretovent shared: "What a dumb move from the traitors?!! If both Ross and Jerry are faithfuls, then it has to be either James or Maya as the traitors. Should have pushed the Leigh-Anne theory instead!! #CelebrityTraitors." @toomz808 added: "Why hasn't Sharon figured out that the only people in the room with Ross were her, Jerry, Kenny, Maya & James, and if it's not her or Jerry then it must be one of the other 3. #CelebrityTraitors."
