Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal have shared their final goodbye message to Strictly Come Dancing fans after their elimination from the BBC One contest, which followed a change to the dance-off format.
The actor, known for playing Mackenzie Boyd in the ITV soap, was paired with professional dancer Jowita for the 2026 series, which launched in September. They competed in the famous ballroom last weekend, but ahead of week six, the show introduced a three-couple dance-off instead of the usual two-couple format, with the three lowest-scoring couples dancing again before the judges decided who to eliminate.
Halloween Show and Leaderboard
The latest episode aired on Saturday, October 31, with Halloween-themed costumes and routines. Lawrence scored 26 for a tango to Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr, leaving him and Jowita just above Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita, and Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley, who were joint bottom of the leaderboard.
In Sunday's results show, Lawrence and Jowita became the fifth couple to leave this year after facing Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu in the three-couple dance-off.
Fans React to Exit
Fans expressed disappointment over the decision, with many commenting on the triple dance-off. In a video posted to Strictly's social media channels, Jowita said: "We would like to say a big, massive thank you to everyone for all your support [and] all your kind messages. We had a lovely time. We had a blast on that dancefloor."
She added: "It's a shame because we would love to entertain you more," before Lawrence said: "We cannot thank all of you enough and it means the world that we made it as far as we did. We would love to have gone further, but it wasn't to be. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sending you all of the love and for those that did vote for us, please continue to vote for your favourite couple."
Jowita concluded: "And remember..." before Lawrence interjected: "Keep dancing!" and Jowita smiled: "Keeeep dancing!" The caption of the post read: "They've entertained us for six weeks, and now it's one last goodbye from Lawrence and Jowita. #Strictly."
