Strictly Come Dancing professional Julian Caillon joked he was 'hanging by a thread' as he revealed he had no time to relax after his elimination from the 2026 series, spending the weekend packing up his apartment and moving house.
The dancer, in his second year on the BBC One show, was paired with Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey during last month's launch show. The pair made it through to week four, which aired on Saturday night (October 17) and featured Icons Week, with dances paying tribute to artists including Sir Elton John, Adele and Frank Sinatra.
Third Couple Eliminated
Sarah, Britain's most successful Paralympian with 30 Paralympic medals including 19 golds, became the third star to leave the competition during Sunday's (October 18) results show. Their tango to Shania Twain's 'That Don't Impress Me Much' scored 21, placing them at the bottom of the leaderboard.
House Of The Dragon actress Bethany Antonia and her partner Nancy Xu scored 27 for their cha cha to Aretha Franklin's 'Respect', landing third from bottom. After the public vote was added, Bethany and Sarah faced the dance-off, with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke choosing to save Bethany, meaning head judge Shirley Ballas did not need to cast her deciding vote.
Moving Day After Exit
Speaking after the result, Sarah praised Julian, saying: "I've had the most amazing teacher, which has been the biggest blessing." Julian also spoke warmly of his partner, describing her as "the GOAT" and praising her "absolute commitment and hard work to the process."
Julian spent the rest of the weekend moving out of his apartment with his partner, Sofia Ochoa. Sharing a picture of himself in a lift with packed boxes, he wrote on his Instagram Story: "Hanging on by a thread." In a later video, he explained: "Sof and I have had just today to basically move out of our apartment, which we have to be out of by tomorrow."
He added that he was "so proud of Sarah" and that their time on the show being cut short was a shame, but said the dance-off performance was "the best she ever danced." He thanked supporters and promised to reply to messages "as soon as I can."
