Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One this evening (October 24) at 6.30pm, with the remaining couples competing for a place in week six of the competition. The live show will run until 8.35pm, followed by the opening of the public vote.
What to Expect in Tonight's Show
The fifth live programme follows last week's Icons Week (October 17), which saw Dame Sarah Storey and partner Julian Caillon become the third pairing eliminated from the contest. They lost a dance-off against Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, with judges Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse all voting to save Bethany and Nancy. Head judge Shirley Ballas confirmed she would have made the same decision had her casting vote been needed.
Tonight's performances will determine which couples secure their place in week six, with the results show airing on Sunday (October 25) from 7.10pm to 8pm on BBC One.
Sunday's Results Show and Professional Performance
The 50-minute results episode will feature the professional dancers performing a fitness-themed routine alongside Spice Girl Melanie C. Audiences have been told to "expect high energy, treadmills and skipping ropes galore as the pros dance to Spacedust's Gym and Tonic, Meghan Trainor's Shimmer, and then Melanie C's Sweat - performed in the studio by the sportiest Spice Girl herself".
