Strictly hosts' secret pact exposed after axe demand

Strictly Come Dancing presenters Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe have made it clear they are a team, according to a body language expert, as speculation grows over their future on the show.

The trio, who replaced Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman following their exit in 2025, have faced heavy criticism since taking over the roles in September. While Emma has been praised by viewers for her charisma and professionalism, Josh and Johannes have struggled to win over fans, sparking calls for bosses to intervene over the new hosts.

Expert highlights hosts' united stance

Body language expert Inbaal Honigman said the three presenters appear to be backing each other up on and off the show. She told Express.co.uk: "All three hosts gather their hands in front of their bodies when they turn to the camera, sharing an identical 'presenter-y' stance. Those wringing hands are a little nervous, but what's important is that they're the same."

Honigman added: "The fact that Josh, Emma and Johannes all fall into such a similar physical stance while they share their hosting duties means that all three are taking equal responsibility for the success of the show. If they do well, praise is, no doubt, shared equally between them. By now, they are a fully functioning trio and see themselves as a team."

Josh's nervousness contrasts with Emma's confidence

The expert also highlighted that Josh still seems to be very nervous, pointing out that he was the total opposite of "happy" Emma Willis, who was "basking in the love of the audience".

Honigman continued: "Josh walks on wearing a totally different facial expression. His smile is subtle, hesitant, almost non existent at first. He glances around, worried, before committing to a full smile."

She noted that Josh is "not as confident in the love of the audience as Emma is", but that he visibly relaxes when he sees her: "The two open their arms wide towards each other, indicating a welcoming, friendly exchange of emotions."
