Strictly Come Dancing's Halloween Week ended with a shock elimination, as a three-way dance-off saw one couple sent home. The result, which leaked online ahead of the Sunday results show, has left some fans "absolutely devastated" and condemning the outcome as "ridiculous."
Halloween Week Leaderboard
The night featured no 10s, unlike the previous week. Delta Goodrem and her professional partner Kai Widdrington led early with a Viennese Waltz to Unchained Melody, scoring 33 out of 40. They were overtaken by John and Katya, whose tango earned 35, before the final couple of the night, Lacey and Vito, topped the standings with a Charleston to Cheryl's Crazy Stupid Love, scoring 36 out of 40.
At the bottom of the leaderboard, Tabby and Mark dropped from last week's high score to 25, matching the score Graeme and Lauren received for their routine that opened the show.
Three-Way Dance-Off Twist
As announced during the previous week's results show, this weekend featured a three-way dance-off, with the judges voting to eliminate a couple rather than save one, as is the norm in other weeks. The result drama was set to air on BBC One on Sunday at 7.10pm, but the outcome leaked online in the early hours of Sunday.
One fan reacted: "I'm absolutely devastated," while another wrote: "Shocked it was unanimous," with others expressing sympathy for the professional dancer who was sent home.
Upcoming Results Show
This week's results show will feature a Dracula-themed routine from the professional dancers and a performance from Becky Hill.
