Lacey Turner closed Strictly Come Dancing's Halloween special with a Charleston that left fans complaining she did not receive a perfect score, despite judges calling it the best dance of the night.
The EastEnders actress and her professional partner Vito Coppola were among the 11 couples who returned to the ballroom on Saturday night (October 31) for the BBC One show's spooktacular episode.
Halloween Night Glamour
The episode featured elaborate costumes, with Anton Du Beke dressed as an angel and Craig Revel Horwood as a devil. "The roles you were born to play," presenter Josh Widdicombe joked at the start of the show.
Co-host Emma Willis said the judges looked "amazing", with Motsi Mabuse in a green butterfly ensemble and head judge Shirley Ballas in an ice queen outfit that Emma described as "slightly terrifying".
Top of the Leaderboard
Turner impressed with a Charleston to Crazy Stupid Love by Cheryl and Tinie Tempah, channelling gothic glamour in an all-black outfit. The routine earned a score of 36, with each judge awarding nine, placing the couple at the top of the leaderboard.
Judge Motsi described the routine as the "best dance of the night", and the 38-year-old was told her dance was the "best of the night" overall.
Fans Call for 10s
While viewers joined the judges in praising the performance, many were left with a single complaint. @EoghanO2607933 said: "Why did lacey not get a 10 for her Charleston? I'm not sure but she definitely deserved a 10 or two. #Strictly."
