Graeme Hall has been dealt a major blow hours before Sunday's Strictly Come Dancing results show, after his Halloween Samba left him at the foot of the leaderboard.
The Channel 5 star opened Saturday night's Halloween special with a zombie-themed routine to the track Coconut, performed with professional partner Lauren. However, the 25-point total he received from the judges placed him bottom of the standings, level with Tabby Stoecker.
Fans Voice Concerns on Social Media
Strictly viewers took to X shortly after the performance to share their worries about Graeme's chances in the competition. One person said: "What have they done to this song?! Such a weird dance. Bit worried for Graeme." Another wrote: "Are Graeme's shoes hindering him??!!" Someone else commented: "Not Graeme's best; I'm nervous."
Another viewer added: "This has got to be Graeme's weakest dance in the competition so far, wasn't really my cup of tea." One person said: "Surely the Dogfather needs to face a dance-off." As someone else shared: "Sorry Graeme but I don't think this was your dance #strictly."
Judges' Feedback and Scores
Following the routine, judge Shirley Ballas said: "You're very brave to open the show with a zombie Samba; that's all I'm going to say, so I'll give you that. Nice criteria when it comes to mixing the basic steps."
Craig Revel Horwood commented: "I would've liked to have seen a bit more fluidity in the bounce. The footwork was a little bit sticky at times. It needs finessing. But, I have to say, every time we watch you, you come out here, and you go for it."
Craig awarded six points, Motsi seven, Shirley five and Anton seven, leaving Graeme with a combined total of 25, according to Wales Online.
Top of the Leaderboard
At the opposite end of the standings, Lacey and Vito claimed top spot after receiving a score of 36 for their Charleston.
BBC viewers will need to tune in on Sunday evening to discover which couple will be eliminated from the competition next. The results show will also showcase a professionals routine, along with a live musical performance from Becky Hill.
