Strictly fans stunned by exit spoiler they weren't expecting

Strictly Come Dancing fans who couldn't wait until the official results of the latest exit to be revealed have been left stunned as an early spoiler confirmed the latest couple to leave the competition.

This week's instalment of the BBC dancing competition on Saturday night (October 31) was the annual Halloween special, with the judges and the remaining couples going all out when it came to their costumes and routines to suit the spooky festivities.

Halloween Special Performances

The latest instalment of Strictly's 2026 series opened with TV dog trainer Graeme Hall and professional partner Lauren Oakley dancing the samba to Coconut by Harry Nilsson. The pair scored 25 for their routine, which Craig Revel Horwood said "needs finessing".

It left them joint bottom of the leaderboard with Olympic medallist Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita, who also scored 25 for their quickstep to Black Magic by Little Mix, which head judge Shirley Ballas said "wasn't your best".

Meanwhile, EastEnders actress Lacey Turner was told her dance was the "best of the night" after performing a "stunning" routine with Vito Coppola during Halloween week.

Top of the Leaderboard

The 38-year-old impressed with a Charleston to Crazy Stupid Love by Cheryl and Tinie Tempah while channelling gothic glamour in an all-black outfit. They soared to the top of the leaderboard with a score of 36, and judge Motsi Mabuse described the routine as the "best dance of the night".

Former Love Island winner Dani Dyer also wowed the judges with her "best dance yet" after performing a Viennese waltz with Nikita Kuzmin. The pair danced to My Favourite Things by Rodgers and Hammerstein while dressed in ghoulish Victorian-style costumes, earning 32 points.

Dance-Off Spoiler

But, as Strictly fans know, it can all come down to the public vote, and some have been left surprised after a leaked spoiler revealed which couples landed in the latest dreaded dance-off, which for the first time ever, was between three couples instead of the usual two, before a decision was made to send one of them home.

The results show airs on Sunday but is pre-recorded on Saturday night after the live show, meaning that the name of the axed star is often leaked online. While the Manchester Evening News won't be revealing the bottom two or exit results, fans have already been reacting online.
