Last Week's Scores

Last weekend saw the first 10s of the series handed out, as judge Anton Du Beke awarded both Delta Goodrem and Tabitha Stoecker maximum scores. Olympian Stoecker also received another 10 from Motsi Mabuse, placing her at the top of the leaderboard with a total of 37.

Delta followed closely with an overall mark of 34, after her recent absence from the programme due to injuring her rib.

Opening Routine

The first couple to grace the dancefloor were Graeme Hall and his professional partner Lauren Oakley, who performed a zombie-inspired Samba to the track Lime in the Coconut.

Shirley Ballas commented: "You're very brave to open the show with a zombie Samba; that's all I'm going to say, so I'll give you that. Nive criteria when it comes to mixing the basic steps." Craig Revel Horwood added: "I would've liked to have seen a bit more fluidity in the bounce. The footwork was a little bit sticky at times. It needs finessing. But, I have to say, every time we watch you, you come out here, and you go for it."

Ultimately, Craig awarded a score of six, Motsi a seven, Shirley a five and Anton a seven, bringing Graeme and Lauren's total to 25.

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturdays on BBC One from 6:30pm.
