Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left divided over Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb's performance in the show's Halloween special, with some claiming they spotted a 'problem' for the actor.
The spooktacular festivities took over the ballroom on Saturday night (October 31) as the latest episode of the BBC One dance contest was filled with elaborate costumes and routines, which ended up being a trick or treat for some.
Leaderboard shake-up
The latest instalment of Strictly's 2026 series opened with TV dog trainer Graeme Hall and professional partner Lauren Oakley dancing the samba to Coconut by Harry Nilsson. The pair scored 25 for their routine, which Craig Revel Horwood said "needs finessing".
It left them joint bottom of the leaderboard with Olympic medallist Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita, who also scored 25 for their quickstep to Black Magic by Little Mix, which head judge Shirley Ballas said "wasn't your best".
Meanwhile, making their way to the top of the leaderboard was Lacey Turner, with the EastEnders star being told her dance was the "best of the night" after performing a "stunning" routine with Vito Coppola on Strictly Come Dancing's Halloween week.
Lawrence's tango scores 26
The 38-year-old impressed with a Charleston to Crazy Stupid Love by Cheryl and Tinie Tempah while channelling gothic glamour in an all-black outfit. They soared to the top of the leaderboard with a score of 36, and judge Motsi Mabuse described the routine as the "best dance of the night".
But it wasn't all good news for Strictly's soap stars, as Emmerdale actor Lawrence scored 26 for a tango to Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr alongside his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal, leaving them just above Tabby and Mark and Graeme and Lauren at the bottom end of the leaderboard.
Fans react to Lawrence's score
However, Strictly fans appeared to be on Lawrence's side, as they were left spotting the same problem. @A_ANGELS05 said: "I swear down I feel like Lawrence has been sabotaged with the song choice in this Tango. Why do they do it to contestants? That being said, I enjoyed his dance with what he's been given. #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
@Ryan_MonkeyUK commented: "That was ridiculously harsh on Lawrence. Zero need to humiliate someone like that. He will get my vote because of it. #strictly." @amy.mcbeth_musicals shared: "So undermarked. Hes doing so good since he joined. This was his best ballroom dance than week 2. Hope the fans vote for him. We need to see him further. He got all my votes." @brightmarvel10 posted: "I feel like giving this dance with this song was something of a stitch up. He did a lot better than I expected!"
Meanwhile, @scddevereaux asked: "Do the judges just hate Lawrence? #strictly," to which @britpipers replied: "Yes bc I think he's the best out of all the male celebs, especially with the improvements." However, @Patty8862 argued: "No, he's just objectively one of the weaker dancers left in the competition."
