Strictly Come Dancing viewers took to social media within minutes of the Halloween Week live show to complain about host Josh Widdicombe's outfit. The comedian wore a dark green suit while the judges and fellow hosts dressed on theme for the spooky occasion.

The BBC dance competition returned on Saturday night (October 31) for its Halloween Week special, with couples hoping to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke. Hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe presented the show, with Emma and Johannes dressed in keeping with the theme.
However, viewers quickly shared their thoughts on Josh's choice. "Did Josh not get the Halloween memo?" one person wrote on X. Another added: "Josh, zero effort." A third said: "What's Josh come as?"
Someone else commented: "Disappointed the hosts didn't really dress up for Halloween. I guess Emma and Johannes have a Halloween vibe, but Josh hasn't bothered."
Triple dance-off ahead
The upcoming results show will mark a Strictly first with a triple dance-off. The three couples with the lowest combined scores from the judges and public votes will compete, with each judge revealing which couple they want to eliminate instead of voting to save.
Last week, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr became the fourth couple to leave the ballroom after losing to Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu in the dance-off. Their exit followed the departures of Chris Appleton, Melanie Walters, and Sarah Storey.
